MCFC Competitive Team Tryouts - Spring, 2011
2011 MCFC Team Tryouts
Monterey County Futbol Club will hold initial tryouts for its competitive soccer teams on Saturday March 5 and Sunday March 6th, 2011.
Team tryouts are designed to identify players for the fall season with U.S. Club Soccer for all ages from U9 through U18, boys and girls as well
as players interested in playing on spring competitive soccer teams. We are seeking players that are looking for the opportunity to play soccer
at a high level with other players from all over Monterey County to form the best teams possible. Existing teams that have openings for the
spring season may invite players to play with the team during the spring as well for a given age group.
All players, including returning players who would like to play on an MCFC soccer team in the fall, are expected to attend at least
one of the two tryouts, on either Saturday or Sunday.
Players who demonstrate skills, physical abilities, and knowledge of the game appropriate to competitive soccer team at their age level will be
invited to participate in MCFC team practices with a team in their age group as a second-phase of the tryout process. All players who attend
the initial tryouts will be guided onto a recreational or competitive team at a level appropriate for their age and ability.
The goal of MCFC is to develop excellent soccer players and teams, and every effort will be made to place players with teams and coaches
where they can best develop their skills and knowledge of competitive soccer. MCFC provides opportunities for soccer players at all ages
and levels, from the introductory level at the recreational soccer level all the way to Academy level play at the highest level.

10:30am-noon Birthdates between 8/1/1998 to 7/31/2000
1:00-2:30 pm Birthdates between 8/1/1995 to 7/31/1998
2:30-4:30 pm Birthdates between 8/1/1993 to 7/31/1995
Please bring a completed liability release form to the tryouts. The form can be downloaded from the link below. This will be required before
participating in tryouts.
