Note:  If your team will be playing US Club Soccer this fall, please contact Eric Johnsen first to register your team and set up the
site for the fall.

ALL SPRING LEAGUE AGES UNDER 11 TO UNDER 18 NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!  

U11 to U18 teams - girls and boys - may now Register for the 2010 Spring League.  The registration deadline is March 1 for U10-13 and April 25 for U14-

January 15 - Registration OPEN
April 25 - Registration CLOSED
April 28 - Preliminary Brackets POSTED
May 5 - Final Brackets and Schedules POSTED
May 15 - Spring 2010 League Game Day #1
July 31 - Last Game for US Club Spring League


This league provides divisions for teams to compete in their region or at a State Premier level. Coaches and managers - please note your preference in
the team history portion of the application.  NorCal Premier Fall League may require some travel across regions depending on the number of teams
registered in their region.

Note that coaches and players must first be registered members of US Club Soccer before registering for the Norcal Premier fall league.  Please contact
Eric Johnsen via email (ekjohnsen@sbcglobal.net) to let him know of your intent to play spring US Club Soccer in order to set up your team and staff on
the US Club Soccer website.

CYSA Spring, 2010 Competitive Teams Registration Steps
US Club Soccer/NorCal Premier Spring League U11-U18
Steps for Registration:

1.        Team Registration (www.gotsoccer.com)

Must register team with Got Soccer on the computer

a)        Website open 2/15/10 at
www.gotsoccer.com
b)        Print roster of the team from the site.

Must collect all 1601(player reg. form) and 1628(adult reg. form) and birth certificates for all new players to CYSA

a)        Forms must be filled out in blue ink only
b)        All signatures must be complete
c)        Please provide copy of coaching license if you have not already
d)        Must have 2 copies each for new players, adults and birth certificates
e)        Returning players must be listed on roster as active players (on roster printed out from gotsoccer site - not pending)

Key dates:

2/27/2010  Team online registration deadline.  (Must have minimum 7 players registered for valid team, but this is not the individual player
registration site – just a roster of players to start).  Payment of $100 or $250 for the team (or $275/$500 if playing in spring District Cup
Tournament, depending on age group – see below)

2.        Player Registration (via League One – click on ActiveSports logo at right)

Must register each player and staff member on League One site on the computer
a)        Website open 2/17/10 at www.leagueone.com
b)        Must pay with credit card for each individual player
c)        All players and staff must re-register on website
d)        All teams must have a minimum of 7 player to register their team
e)        Must register players as Spring Season and Primary

Key dates:

3/30/2010  Player online registration deadline.  ($39 for new CYSA players & $20 for returning players payable on line using a credit card for
payment)

3/27/2010  First game of the Spring Season.  (Spring season is 9 games)

4/30/2010  Last day to register additional players for Spring through your Registrar.  
             (Need paperwork 12 days in advance of first date of play along with check to MCFC for
appropriate fees for player registration)

5/22/2010  Last game of the Spring Season.

6/5 & 6/6/2010 or 6/12 & 6/13/2010  Spring District Cup Tournament


3.         MCFC Submission

Send all paperwork to Amy Fink

a)        Either drop off in her Mailbox or Mail to: 8 Lagunita Rd. Salinas, CA 93906
b)        Amy’s cell phone is 831-809-4121 please do not call after 9pm
c)        Make sure team packets are complete with forms, birth certificates, licenses, pictures
d)        Please do not staple paperwork together, use paperclips

Rosters and paper passes will be sent back to you

a)        Passes will be on certain blue paper and signed by Amy Fink
b)        Rosters will be signed by Amy Fink
c)        Coaches will apply pictures to passes using glue or tape, then laminate each one
d)        Pictures must be no more than 1” X 1 ½” with no hats or sunglasses and player facing forward

Fees for Spring Teams

a)         Spring League Team Fee is $250
b)        MCFC Spring Team Fee is $75 per team
c)        Player Fee for new player is $39 each and returning player is $20 each paid online
d)        Referee Fees for 5 home games is $620
e)        Field Fees: initial estimate on invoice for each team will vary depending on where games are played.  Fees are based on preliminary         
           indication of desired home team locations.
f)        All checks made payable to MCFC
g)        All past due fees from Fall Season must be paid in full before you register for Spring Season
